The large-scale market introduction of fuel cell (FC) based micro combined heat and power (micro-CHP) systems in applications such as residential use faces a broad range of challenges, including field support arrangements, which require special attention.
It is for this reason that, as part of the ene.field project, manufacturers and electricity utility companies involved in the project compiled a report providing an analysis of the lessons learnt and of future needs for the technology discovered during installation and field support of FC micro-CHPs in the course of ene.field’s lifetime.
