The ene.field project is delighted to welcome new partner Viessmann, a leading international manufacturer of heating, cooling and climate control technology. The German-based company brings the total number of manufacturers in the project to 10, collectively representing the leaders in the FC and boiler sectors. Viessmann is active in 74 countries and, in 2011, has brought its first mCHP product to the market. In 2014, the company was the first to introduce a series production FC mCHP heating device in Europe.
Under the ene.field project the company will install units in several countries. As such, Viessmann will be of great value for the deployment process and the project as a whole. As a strong supporter of fuel cell micro-CHP, Viessmann is convinced that fuel-cell micro-CHP is a modern energy efficiency solution for homes and projects like ene.field help the technology to come to market more quickly.
